Facebook Places or is this the end of FourSquare?

Didn’t take a long for big guys to take on new kid on the block – Foursquare. Facebook announced Places. Applications that pretty much copying FourSquare. Oh, yes, you can’t become mayor yet. Not yet... But you can ‘check-in’ where you are, share places with your friends, let them know what is good, embrace local business... you know, in general everything you can do on FourSquare, just this time on Facebook. Hmm, even that name is known from somewhere, maybe www.google.com/places ? And don’t mix this with Google latitude! Will this kick off?

Foursquare: Thinking outside the square

Popular mobile social network Foursquare will open online shop soon. Devoted users will be able to buy branded merchandise including t-shirts, stickers, badges and pins. Shop will be open this summer on Foursqure.com

Location based network is next social phenomenon. In just over a year and half of existence they attracted over 1.6M members, whom are very active and passionate users of Foursquare services.

Mobile video is ultimate type of entertainment. Delivered where you want it, when you want it. Can’t be better. Except slow network speed. Specially here in Australia. But 4G will change that.

With speeds up to 10 times faster than 3G, 4G will deliver uninterrupted high quality entertainment on our mobiles. Watching video, browsing Facebook and sending email with attached presentation – all at the same time. On my Nokia, not on iPad, as it’s not multitasking, sorry.
